As a grandmother of 4, I love to read to my grandchildren, but living in another state made that difficult. 

Until Skype.

Now, I can read bedtime stories to them, and they read to me.  I can interact with them and watch them grow daily.   They get excited to show me their artwork from school, awards they got from soccer or football, or their new Barney Doll!!!!   

Thanks to a very creative kindergarten teacher, I get to read to my grandson’s kindergarten class once a week via Skype!  She uses the fact that I am in North Carolina and they are in Vermont as a learning experience for them.  They went to Google Earth and located my house!  I love technology.
